About CranioSacral Therapy

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle healing approach using light touch to work with deep tensions in the body to encourage the central nervous system to self-correct and harmonize.

Therapists work with the CranioSacral system, which is made up of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord from head to sacrum. Therapists “listen” with their hands to rhythms, imbalances and tensions within the CranioSacral System, and guide the body’s natural healing processes towards health. CST facilitates deep stillness and peace, allowing for the body to sink into an altered state necessary for this rebalancing to occur.

CST is used to treat many medical conditions associated with pain and dysfunction, and also as a preventive health measure supporting general well-being and resistance to disease.
